Description

Corrosion inhibitor oil for temporary rust protection Corrosion inhibitor oil which protects steel parts from rust during storage or transport. It is also suitable for item storage of metal parts Meguin Korrosionsschutz 12M has water displacing properties and corrosion protection properties of a medium-to long-term storage of ferrous and non-ferrous materials (up to 24 months under roof). The oily film which forms on the treated parts can easily be removed after storage or transport using aqueous-alkaline cleaning products.

Application

The ready to use corrosion inhibitor oil can be applied by dipping or spraying. Since the drip inhibitor additives settle after a few weeks, the product should be pumped through the system in full or homogenized using a mixer at low speed once per day before use. That forms after evaporation of the solvent, corrosion-resistant protective film – even against aggressive factors.
