Meguin Dewatering Fluid

Description

Corrosion inhibitor with excellent dewatering properties Solvent-based corrosion inhibitor with excellent water displacement properties. Moisture and the corrosive salts it contains in solution can be perfectly removed from wet metal surfaces. Once the solvent has evaporated, an extremely thin, mechanically stable corrosion inhibition film which is resistant to contact remains. Meguin Dewatering Fluid is predominantly used to protect smooth steel surfaces during storage or transport. The film can be removed by using hydrocarbon cleaner or aqueous alkaline at 80°C.

Application

Stir well before use. The parts to be protected are usually sunk as on racks or in bulk Meguin Dewatering fluid in the immersion bath. It must be ensured that the separated water is regularly drained off.
