Fuchs Silkolene Pro 2 is an Electrosyntec Technology – the ultimate full synthetic ester 2-Stroke premix racing engine oil.

Description

Electrosyntec uses electrostatic forces to bond low friction molecules to stressed metal surfaces, releasing hidden power and ensuring long-term performance retention. Track experience at Grand Prix and international level has shown that FUCHS SILKOLENE PRO 2 is one of the very few competition oils which can provide the latest racing engines with the outstanding load-carrying and cleanliness requirements necessary for full power output even at high fuel to oil ratios. Utilises aerospace technology to give the ultimate in lubrication and engine protection, and maintains film strength at high temperatures and stresses during motorcycle and kart racing.
Some oils can only achieve race performance at the expense of long-term engine cleanliness, but Pro 2 is
particularly resistant to ring-sticking and plug fouling problems, and helps to maintain full output for the track
life of an engine. Special additives combat the problem of the throttle sticking
in wet conditions experienced with some types of racing carburetors.

SILKOLENE PRO 2 combats varnish deposits on and below piston rings preventing ring sticking. Carbon deposits
on the piston crown and in the exhaust ports are reduced, giving more efficient ignition…essential when using the latest electronic power valve systems.

SILKOLENE PRO 2 forms a highly effective seal between cylinder, piston and ring, enabling the engine to
produce optimum power throughout the rev range. It extends engine life, virtually eliminates small end pick-up
and has been seen to double crank life in certain applications.

Application

Developed exclusively for two-stroke racing engines, SILKOLENE PRO 2 is formulated using synthetic components
which provide the exceptional anti-seize properties usually associated only with castor-based oils.
SILKOLENE PRO 2 has been used successfully at 40:1 mixture although users should refer to engine manufacturers’ instructions.

SILKOLENE PRO 2 mixes easily with all types of standard pump fuel and high octane race gasolines, at any
ambient temperature and with no separation, even if left to stand for weeks. SILKOLENE PRO 2 must not be
mixed with conventional two-stroke oils.
