Description

FUCHS RENOLIN THERM 250 is a high-performance heat transfer medium based on selected, highly refined mineral oils for use in the fluid phase in closed heat transfer systems with forced circulation. RENOLIN THERM 250 (thermal oil Q DIN 51522) can be used over the entire operating range without pressure overlap.

Application

RENOLIN THERM 250 is highly suitable for indirect heating of reactors, polymerization and distillation facilities, machining systems and dryers as well as heat exchangers in processing and heat recovery systems. The heat transfer fluid functions optimally within a temperature range of 100 °C to 180 °C. The upper application limit is equivalent to an inlet temperature of 250 °C. The film temperature should not exceed the limit level of 270 °C.
