TOTAL MERKAN 23

TOTAL MERKAN 23 Is a water-resistant calcium grease.

APPLICATIONS

• MERKAN 23 is pre-eminently designed for the lubrication of slow rotating slide bearings and articulations used in marine applications such as stern tubes, and ‘industrial’ applications such as conveyor belts.
• MERKAN 23 is also suitable as a non “EP” general purpose grease in a wide range of ‘outdoor’ applications where water is in frequent contact with the grease.
• Always avoid contamination of the grease by dust and/or dirt when applying. Preferably use a pneumatic pump system.

ADVANTAGES

• MERKAN 23 is insoluble in water, leading to a remarkable resistance to water washout.
• Because of the smooth and fluid structure MERKAN 23 is easily pumpable and therefore suitable for centralized lubrication systems.
