We developed the MIKROZELLA G 8 OY K and MIKROZELLA G 100 OY K depot lubricating gels to provide a secondary lubricant reservoir to enable re-charging of vacuum impregnated sintered metal bearings. The integrated UV indicator enables easy quality controls, visible even when a small quantity of lubricant is applied. Application

MIKROZELLA products are plastic oil-loaded gels enabling additional lubrication of sintered metal bearings. They can be used for the lubrication of sintered metal bearings and can replace felt lubrication systems or depot greases. MIKROZELLA can be used as a depot lubricant for oil and for lifetime lubrication of fluid-impregnated sintered metal sliding bearings. MIKROZELLA is applied to the external surfaces of the porous sintered metal bearing. The capillary effect ensures that the bearing’s pores are continuously supplied with fresh lubricant, wchih considerably improves the lubricant supply to the friction points. MIKROZELLA products extend the running time of sintered bearing application points in precision engineering, automotive engineering, electrical and household engineering.

Application notes

The ready-to-use MIKROZELLA gels containing the appropriate viscosity base oil can be applied to the outer surface of the bearing by means of conventional, fully automatic metering systems without the need for stirring or the addition of fresh oil. Being applied to the outside of the sintered metal plain bearing it assists in stabilising the bearing during assembly. Please note, however, that due to different system configurations and application conditions the pumpabililty of the product has to be confirmed.
