Description

Klüberplus S 03-105 is a white, air-hardening PTFE dispersion in an organic binding agent. Once dry, the dispersion provides good wear resistance, has a low friction coefficient, and ensures smooth operation at low speeds. The dispersion dries very quickly in spite of the water contained in the solvent. Adhesion on iron, non-ferrous metals, plastic materials (e.g. ABS, PC, PVC, PU, PA, PS), and elastomers (e.g. NBR, FKM, SBR, EPDM) is good.

Application

Klüberplus S 03-105 reduces friction and wear in metal/metal, metal/ plastic and plastic/plastic friction components. It is also suitable as a release agent when casting tin hinges, and to lubricate slide rails, threads, bolts and bushings. Klüberplus S 03-105 can also be used as an assembly aid for plastic and elastomer components.

Application notes

Klüberplus S 03-105 is a ready-to-use product. Shake or stir well before use. The product then has to be filtered, e.g. using a nylon filter with a mesh size of 150 µm.

The dispersion can be applied by spraying, immersion, or by brush. Information on other application methods is available on request. The surfaces to be coated must be cleaned/degreased and be completely free from oil, grease, water, corrosion, and scale. If required, Klüberplus S 03-105 can be diluted with deionized water or tap water up to a hardness of 10 °dH. In this context it is important to keep in mind that the product’s lubricity and wetting capacity decrease as the water content increases. Protect product from frost and direct heat.
