Description

FUCHS PLANTOGEL 2 FS is an environment-friendly EP Heavy Duty grease based on lithium/calcium soap and rapidly biodegradable synthetic esters.

PLANTOGEL 2 FS resists to water and oxidation, protects from corrosion and wear, and is easily pumpable in central lubricating
systems.

PLANTOGEL 2 FS contains EP additives and solid lubricants in order to improve its load carrying abilities.

Application

PLANTOGEL 2 FS is recommended for lubrication of heavy-duty plain and roller bearings, particularly when the use of mineral oilbased products poses a pollution hazard to the ground water, rivers, drinking water or the soil in general. PLANTOGEL 2 FS application examples include central lubrication systems in trucks, construction site machinery and agricultural equipment.
No special precautions need to be observed when changing over to PLANTOGEL 2 FS except for the general practice of pumping fresh
grease through bearings and lines until the new grease is squeezed out of the bearings or seals.

Shelf Life

The minimum shelf life is 36 months if the product is properly stored between 0°C and 40°C in its unopened original container in a dry place. The indication of a minimum shelf life does not include any guarantee of durability.
