Description

FUCHS ANTICORIT S 2000 A is a mineral oil-free, anticorrosion additive for cooling systems of all types of vehicle and stationary engines which are operated in frost-free climates.

ANTICORIT S 2000 A contains corrosion inhibitors based on organic and inorganic acids and nonferrous metal deactivators. Moreover, ANTICORIT S 2000 A contains lubricity agents which, most importantly, reduce the wear to radial seals.

Application

ANTICORIT S 2000 A is used in concentrations between 3 and 5 % in water. At this concentration, ANTICORIT S 2000 A provides excellent corrosion protection to all commonly-used materials in engine cooling systems.

ANTICORIT S 2000 A is formulated for long-ter use as well as for short-term applications such as test rig operation. ANTICORIT S 2000 A also provides adequate corrosion protection during temporary storage.

ANTICORIT S 2000 A is compatible with all nitritefree antifreezes based on monoethylene glycol. Use together with corrosion inhibitors containing mineral oil is not recommended. If cooling water is toppedup, the ANTICORIT S 2000 A concentration should be checked and adjusted if necessary.

Storage conditions

If sealed in the original container, ANTICORIT S 2000 A can be stored at + 5 °C bis + 40 °C for 12 months.

The indication of a minimum period of storage does not include any guarantee of durability
