eni Rotra MP/S is a special multipurpose gear oil with highest pressure properties for the protection of hypoid drives which are operated under severe conditions, with changed friction coefficient (limited slip) for the application in vehicle axle drives with and without self-locking differential and where the manufacturer prescribes a gear oil according to API GL-5.

Properties and performance:

• Due to high-quality EP additives a safe lubrication film is ensured. This is guaranteed also under most difficult application condition such as shock load or high sliding speeds between the tooth flanks.
• Additives that are friction coefficient optimised prevent noises and vibrations and ensure the faultless function of the lamella-lock.
• The excellent wear protection properties protect tooth gears and bearings of gears and axles.
• The superior oxidation stability prevents an early oil ageing and viscosity increase as well as sludge formation.
• eni Rotra MP/S is not corrosive against steel, copper and light metals and protects effectively from rust formation also if humidity is present.
• The outstanding anti-foam behaviour guarantees a load-bearing lubrication film at all operational conditions.
