Elaskon SK-A Is a wire rope lubricant used for primary lubrication.

Elaskon SK-A is a wire rope lubricant that is used for primary lubrication and conservation of wire ropes and is applied during rope production as well as a maintenance coating.

Range of Use:

Elaskon SK-A is used for prevention of corrosion and wear of strand and rope used in bridges and other structural applications.

Characteristic:

Elaskon SK-A is a solvent cutback of an aluminium flake pigmented blend of highly refined petroleum base stocks, synthetic resins and corrosion inhibitors providing resistance to flow at high temperatures. The high level of corrosion inhibition combined with the aluminium flake provides outstanding corrosion protection. After evaporation of the solvent an even, plastic, yet almost dry film is formed.

Application:

Elaskon SK-A is supplied in a solvent cutback form suitable for application at ambient temperatures.
